General Grievous and a small troupe of Droids had stationed themselves within a rock quarry. Their presence there was noted by three nearby Jedi, who were eager to rid themselves of the transfigured Kaleesh.
Nighttime had fallen, and a torrential rain had begun to pour from the polluted sky. The notorious Jedi-slayer was at rest within a temporary shelter. Two Droid guards kept watch outside his quarters, struggling to stay vigilant through the dense, pelting drops.
The trio of Jedi thought the conditions were in their favor. Unsuspecting and handicapped by the storm, the Separatist battalion was clearly disadvantaged, or so the Jedi assumed. Under cover of darkness and heavy rain, the Jedi made their way to the General's quarters, hoping to end his life while he slept. They drew their light sabers only moments before the guarding Droids were hacked to pieces. They then rushed inside to meet their foe.
To the Jedi's surprise, the General was nowhere to be found. Little did they suspect that he had been well-aware of their presence. Wise to their plan, the General had seemingly retreated, and the remaining Droids were fleeing the camp. The Jedi gave chase, hoping to find the General among them, but to no avail.
Disappointed, they too, retreated. Ever wary, the three Jedi had their suspicions about the General's whereabouts, and they kept their light sabers drawn.
He was watching from a hidden perch, digging his talons into the rock wall as he waited for the right moment to strike. As the Jedi drew close, the General drew his own weapons. Ever the clever tactician, Grievous had opted for a weapon far superior to his traditional choice of light sabers, considering the weather.
The General leapt from his perch onto the unsuspecting Jedi. The dual set of electrostaffs flashed on, illuminating the walls of the quarry. Surprised though they were, the Jedi were undaunted, and they were ready to fight. They failed to realize, however, that their clothes and bodies were saturated with acidic, highly conductive water, giving them a fatal weakness for the General to exploit. Attacking in ingenious ways with his both his hands and dexterous feet, Grievous quickly overwhelmed two of the Jedi. The last Jedi backed away, recoiling from the stench of burning flesh. His comrades fallen, he knew the battle was lost.
The Knight Slayer layer stood triumphantly before his defeated foes. He was silent, his face expressionless. The rain continued to fall noisily upon his armor, simmering and turning to steam at the tips of his lethal weapons. The last of the Jedi remained, his light saber shaking in his terrified hands. He breathed heavily, scared, angry, yet unwilling to abandon his mission.
The General turned to face his final foe.
I used sort of a merger of his design from the movie and from the original Clone Wars(a long neck just seemed fitting)! Also, using his feet to wield weapons is infinitely awesome, why did they take that away?! See the process of making this here!
For the upcoming Extreme Weather contest for the GG-x-Lovers group : D Might still make a few small edits to the background. Hope you like! I just couldn't wait a week to upload Go check it out!
